Cupid (referred to asAngel inKirby: Triple Deluxe) is aCopy Ability that first appeared inKirby & The Amazing Mirror. It also appears inKirby: Squeak Squad.Kirby receives this ability by sucking up and swallowing aCupie. While Kirby has the Cupid ability, he possesses a halo and a set of wings, along with a bow and arrows with heart-shaped tips. Using these, he can gently fly through the air while raining arrows down on enemies. This ability is similar to theArcher ability, as both involve firing arrows from a bow.

Cupid Kirby makes his debut inKirby & The Amazing Mirror. Kirby can receive the Cupid ability by sucking up aCupie or by touching aCopy Essence.

Kirby: Squeak Squad[edit]
Cupid makes its second appearance in this game, and is once again obtained by swallowingCupie. The ability has not fundamentally changed sinceKirby & The Amazing Mirror, but obtaining theAbility Scroll for Cupid allows Kirby to charge up and fire three arrows at once. Its flight speed and arrow speed has also been decreased.

- In some spin-offs likeKirby Mass Attack,Kirby Fighters Deluxe, andKirby Fighters 2, when aKirby is defeated and fainted, an angel-like spirit will be released out of his body which resembles Cupid Kirby but is ghostly white and without the bow and arrow.
- In the Japanese games, the pause description describes that the Cupid ability is like a demon, which is possibly a homage toKirby's alias "The Pink Demon".[1]
