— In-game tip regardingClouds fromLvl 1-1 ofKirby Tilt 'n' Tumble.

ACloud[1] is a hovering rectangular cloud platform that appears inKirby Tilt 'n' Tumble. WhenKirby jumps into one, he will be locked into the cloud and carried along in a given path overbottomless pits and other obstacles. Kirby can leave the cloud at any time when the player presses A to make him jump out in a given direction indicated by a star cursor.

There are a few different varieties of clouds, distinguished by their movement patterns. Some only move in a straight direction, while others can be controlled to a limited capacity by the player. A third type can be seen connected to a rotating bar. Hopping into any given Cloud will award aStar Piece and 100 points.
