Challenge 32 is the thirty-second stage ofChallenge Mode inKirby and the Rainbow Curse. It is unlocked by completing 30 One-Minute Challenges.
Overview[edit]
Challenge 32 is a Survival Challenge, divided into twelve rooms with 15 seconds per room. The rooms are as follows:
| Room | Description | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| This room'schest is tucked away in the lower-right corner past a barrier that can only be passed by riding agondola.Kirby will first need to defeat theGondola Bzztbulb, then enter the gondola and ride it along its path. A few obstacles need to be overcome along the way. | ||
| This room features a gondola path that loops over a pool oflava. As Kirby gets close to the chest, it will start to follow the gondola path. Some creativerainbow rope rerouting will be needed to catch up to the chest. | ||
| This room features ninepoint star spinners suspended over a pool of lava. All of them need to be touched to make the chest appear to the right. | ||
| This room features four light panels in a 2x2 grid in the middle of aGray Zone above Kirby's head, with two in a diagonal pattern already being lit. Two gondolas on separate lines can be used to activate all the panels and make the chest appear to the right. | One easy way to solve this room is to start with the horizontal gondola, disembark after one pass, then use the vertical gondola. | |
| The chest in this room is guarded by a series of buzz saws rolling along a gondola line. Kirby will need to head through the gap in the saw line, then wait for it to shift to the right to head through again and get the chest. | ||
| This room's chest is guarded by a lavafall which conceals somemetal block barriers along with aCotta Knight and a largePoint Star. Kirby will need to grab this star, then use aStar Dash to bust through the metal blocks to get the chest. During this whole process, ropes need to be employed to keep Kirby from touching the lava. | ||
| This room is divided into a snaking hall with twogates in the middle that can only be opened by having Kirby and the marble near the chest up top enter the scanners on both sides of the gates. | ||
| In this room, Kirby has to defeat fiveThornsbys blocking him from the chest. | ||
| This room's chest is floating high in the air in the middle of a Gray Zone. A Gondola can be accessed on the bottom, but it will just ride around the chest ineffectually if left to its own devices. To reach the chest, a rainbow rope can be drawn to launch the gondola upward. | ||
| The chest in this room is locked away by two gates in the ceiling which can be opened by activating the scanners on the left and right. A marble can be dropped through the gates as Kirby activates them to help keep both gates open for Kirby's ascent. | ||
| The chest in this room is locked away in a ceiling cache by two shutters that can be opened by hitting the switches on the left and right walls. Kirby will need to maneuver around the threeShockcreepas slithering along the middle barrier bar to hit the switches and then get to the chest. | ||
| This room features two Gray Zones on the left and right sides, with an open space in the middle. Kirby starts on the left, and can use a cup launcher to reach the gondola above his head. Once in, he'll need to ride it through the middle and try to get a boost using a rainbow rope to reach the chest to the right. |
