Cast a Line! Chain Bomb Trial (Chain Bomb Treasure for short) is a stage inTreasure Road, found inWinter Horns. This stage tasksKirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use ofChain Bomb, defeating waves of enemies in fast-flowing pools of water. The stage is unlocked by completingNortheast Frost Street. In order to access this challenge, Kirby needs to have obtained the Chain Bomb ability. The stage is marked by two stars of difficulty and has a stage time of three and a half minutes (three minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of one minute and 30 seconds.
Stage details[edit]
This stage is a battle challenge involving three distinct waves, taking place in three separate pools of water with different current patterns. In each pool, Kirby needs to defeat all the enemies that appear, typically in the form of lines of aquatic swimmers. The Chain Bomb's ability to link up explosions may be helpful in creating "dead zones" for the enemies to swim into. Once Kirby has defeated all three waves, he is free to collect theRare Stone at the end.
Tips[edit]
The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:
- The target time is pretty generous on this stage, so Kirby can afford to make a few mistakes.
- Each pool has a distinct water current. Kirby will need to keep this in mind when tossing bombs into it.
- Kirby does not need to hit every enemy immediately. He can place a good number of bombs in the water to set up for the next ambush wave.
