Calderon is a volcano-likeenemy fromKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn. It can be found floating inlava lakes and constantly spews fire out the top of its head. Occasionally, it will erupt and spew two molten rocks high into the air, which can be captured using theYarn Whip. Touching the top of Calderon's head or the molten rocks will hurtKirby orPrince Fluff. Calderon is immune to theYarn Whip and to theWeight move, but it can be defeated by tossing aYarn ball at it or by using aRavel Ability.
InKirby's Extra Epic Yarn, Calderon can be found inStage 2 of theSub-GameSlash & Bead. Here, it retains its normal function of spewing molten rocks whichMeta Knight must carefully dodge. Meta Knight is able to slash through Calderons with his sword or defeat them with hisSpecial, and doing either will net himbeads.
