Composition[edit]
"Butterfly of Judgment: Morpho Knight" is a song that plays mainly in C minor that plays at 180 beats per minute. It is a mystifying, chaotic battle track making prominent usage of synths, piano and bass guitar. The second part of the song makes use of bass and synth arpeggios while jumping through several key signatures from B minor to G# minor. The last parts of the song prominently feature piano dissonances sprinkled amidst a melody played with bass and synths, which emphasizes on the C note to give the song a somewhat threatening feeling.
The composition of this song makes it somewhat comparable to "VS. Meta Knight", especially due to them sharing the same key signatures, although they have different time signatures.

"Butterfly of Judgment: Morpho Knight" plays when any character who is not aDream Friend fightsMorpho Knight, although prior to Version 4.0.0, the theme was also used whenKing Dedede,Meta Knight, andBandana Waddle Dee fought it. The track also plays when fighting Morpho Knight on the Fiery Showdown and Infernal Crisis difficulties. In addition, when fighting it as a Dream Friend on Soul Melter or higher inThe Ultimate Choice, the track will only play if the Dream Friend'sGuest Star ???? Star Allies Go! run has not been completed. It can be found as track 173 in the game'sJukebox.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land /Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World[edit]
A heavy metal remix of the theme is used for Morpho Knight's boss battle inKirby and the Forgotten Land and itsNintendo Switch 2 Edition. This arrangement was done byYuuta Ogasawara and features an electric guitar and a trumpet as leading instruments. It incorporates elements of "Running Through the New World" and "Welcome to the New World!" as well. It is titled simply"Morpho Knight" at theWaddle Live! Corner Stage, where it is track 85.

TheKirby and the Forgotten Land arrangement was performed live at theKirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival as part of "The Knights' Revenge Medley", along with "Revenge of Meta Knight: Title", "VS. Meta Knight", "Dark Meta Knight", and "The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy". This medley was arranged byMegumi Ohara.[3]
