Blub-Blub Ocean is the second stage ofWater Land inKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by clearingSplash Beach and using theWhistle Patch. This area is a long underwater stage with very few parts on land, culminating in aDolphinMetamortex section. Completing this stage yields theHoop Patch, which is used to unlockSecret Island.
Patch animation[edit]
Upon throwing the patch, a whistle blows which causes the line of fish that was blocking the way to deeper water to be rolled away. From there, the door opens.
Overview[edit]
This stage takes place in a largely underwater setting, with very little in the way of land to stand on. As such, Kirby will be spending most of his time in his submarine form, swimming around and dealing withBlippers and other aquatic threats. The water is full of currents that will carry Kirby in one direction or another, as well as schools ofSawgills and blockades ofAnemonees.

Metamortex stretch[edit]

After following a series of underwater tunnels, Kirby can use aMetamortex to transform into aDolphin. In this form, Kirby gains significant swimming abilities, allowing him to fight water currents and travel up waterfalls. This also allows him to dash through lines of enemies. After a lengthy series of tunnels, Kirby will pass through aReel Gate and find theBonus Bell back on dry land to finish the stage.
