Block

| ||||||||||||||
ABlock is a type ofdevice which takes on a cuboid shape and is used as part of the environment, typically acting as an obstacle,hazard, or resource. Unlike many other devices, blocks act as fully tangible objects whichKirby and other playable characters can stand on, be barricaded by, or even becrushed by, and most types can be broken or otherwise removed. Blocks come in a wide range of types and characteristics, but the most common includeStar Blocks,Bomb Blocks,metal blocks, and barrier blocks. Often, various types of blocks are used in stage puzzles, and have to be interacted with in a certain way to obtain the desired result. Blocks also tend to containitems or obscure hiddendoorways. Unlikeenemies, blocks tend not to reappear if broken unless the stage is reset.
