The one who summoned theinvader fromanother dimension was none other thanTaranza, who plotted while hidden in apparent defeat.

He has summoned thegiant mirror as his final weapon, gazing not only upon its shimmering surface but the dark shadows lurking within...

TheBlack Mirror[1] is an enchanted object fromTeam Kirby Clash Deluxe, which serves as a gateway between dimensions, and a conduit forKing D-Mind's influence.

Overview[edit]

Team Kirby seals King D-Mind back into the mirror after defeating him.

The Black Mirror resembles theDimension Mirror fromKirby & The Amazing Mirror andKirby: Triple Deluxe, but bears a sharper, metallic black frame. It lacks wings, and instead features large spikes protruding from either side of the frame. Its interior is likewise a very dark hue, and seems to only poorly reflect light. This gives the mirror a stronger resemblance toDark Mind, and King D-Mind especially.

The Black Mirror is controlled by King D-Mind, the king of darkness who resembles a cross betweenShadow Dedede and Dark Mind. The king used it to influenceTaranza, causing him to wreak havoc on theDream Kingdom by unleashing all sorts of monsters. Specifically, Taranza's desires to bring backQueen Sectonia using the mirror caused the extra-dimensional road to another dimension to begin collapsing, in turn, bringingParallel Susie andParallel Landia forth from the mirror. It isn't long until Taranza loses control of the mirror's power and brings forthhis dark form from the mirror itself.[2]

Upon defeat, Dark Taranza uses the mirror to summon King D-Mind, but immediately was taken down by the latter with his hammer. Upon King D-Mind's second defeat, Team Kirby seals him in a far-off dimension via the mirror and shatters it, destroying its influence on Taranza and restoring peace to the Dream Kingdom.
