Big Cake[1] is an item that appears exclusively in theTop Ride mode ofKirby Air Ride. It appears randomly in standard Top Ride races, falling somewhere on the given course. When touched by a racer, that racer will immediately become larger, allowing them to squish their rivals on contact. While big, the racer becomes resistant to some hazards, but is still vulnerable to direct attacks from other items such as theDrill andBuzz Saw. Certain stage hazards, likeAnt Doom and the waterfalls in theWater course will also immediately remove the effect. Otherwise, the effect wears off after about 8 seconds.
