Big Bouncy[Japanese title] is an extra large variant ofBouncy which has appeared a total of two times in theKirby series, making its debut appearance inKirby 64: The Crystal Shards as amid-boss in the second stage ofPop Star. From there, it would not appear again untilKirby Star Allies, where it appears both inGuest Star Adeleine & Ribbon Artful Adventurers and inDimension IV ofHeroes in Another Dimension.

Overview[edit]

Big Bouncy is essentially a giant Bouncy that bounces in place, not moving left or right and not actively attacking. It can only hurt Kirby and co. by contact. Like other mid-bosses, Big Bouncy is hardy, taking several hits to defeat. Unlike most mid-bosses, however, it cannot beinhaled, instead bursting when it is defeated. As such, Big Bouncy provides noCopy Ability.

InKirby Star Allies, Big Bouncy has 200HP (by comparison, aStar Bullet does 52 damage), but does not have a displayed health bar.
