Arch Mouth is aMouthful Mode that involvesKirby wrapping himself around a big metal archway in order to take control of it, allowing him to transform into a glider and fly through the air. During these flying sections, Kirby cannot discard the arch, and constantly moves forward in a similar manner to rail flyers likeStar Fox. While flying, Kirby can steer left, right, up, or down, and can attack using the "Spin Tackle". This move is required for him to defeat enemies without taking damage or bust through obstacles.

- ↑↓ - Ascend/Descend
- L/R - Swap Up/Down Control
- B (orY) - Spin Tackle: Kirby barrel-rolls, defeating enemies around him and letting him break obstacles
