"A Stroll on the Ocean Floor" is a stage theme fromKirby's Return to Dream Land. This theme was composed byJun Ishikawa.
Composition[edit]
"A Stroll on the Ocean Floor" is a cheery theme in swung 4/4 rhythm with a bouncy bass line and frequent use of triplets in the melody. This theme appears to be primarily in the key of C, and has instruments such as synths (as the lead instrument and in the background), drumbeats, and a piano-like instrument.The theme begins with its intro, which features the piano-like instrument playing, followed by a drumbeat. The theme then starts the first portion of its happy-sounding melody with the synth. The same melody repeats, but with a different ending that goes up three notes from C. After this, a solo synth plays its part, then it goes into the second half, which brings back the other synth again. This portion (and the latter half of the first portion) also has a lower pitched synth in the background. The melody then repeats one octave higher. Afterwards, the theme then loops.

Besides reprising its role from the original game, which can be found as Track 33 in theJukebox, inKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, the third area ofMagolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler,Poseiblu Dimension, features a medley of "A Stroll on the Ocean Floor" and "Freezing Temple" titled "Blue Blizzard Remix". It can be found as Track 175 in theJukebox.
