"A Dangerous, High-Flying Finale" is a music track arranged byYuki Shimooka.[1] It first appeared inKirby Fighters 2, playing in the Item Rooms of the last five floors of the Final Chapter ofStory Mode: The Destined Rivals.
Composition[edit]
"A Dangerous, High-Flying Finale" is a climatic track made up of "Dangerous Dinner" fromKirby's Return to Dream Land and "Heading for 0²" fromKirby 64: The Crystal Shards, both tracks from the games' final levels.
The track features similar instrumentation to "Dangerous Dinner", along with heavier percussion, added bells and a choir. The intro portion of "Dangerous Dinner" is skipped. The first two sections of "Dangerous Dinner" play in full with snippets of "Heading for 0²", after which the full version of the latter theme enters. The second section of "Heading for 0²" has lighter instrumentation and a brief shift to D major. At the end of the "Heading for 0²" segment, the theme modulates to D-flat/C-sharp major, and the second, "The Adventure Begins" segment of "Dangerous Dinner" joins in a duet and then takes over, transitioning back to minor. "Dangerous Dinner" finishes with its "Road to Victory" section and loops to the theme's original intro segment before the track loops as a whole.

InKirby Fighters 2, "A Dangerous, High-Flying Finale" debuts as the theme for the Item Rooms of the last five floors in the final chapter ofStory Mode: The Destined Rivals.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]
InKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, "A Dangerous, High-Flying Finale" returns, playing onThe True Arena's title screen and in the rest areas of the Extra Mode bosses (replacing the original "Dangerous Dinner" theme for this purpose). It can be found as track 190 in theJukebox after clearingExtra Mode.
