Yu-ri Yoshida (吉田 有里,Yoshida Yūri, born 18 August) is a Japanese voice actress fromSaga Prefecture, affiliated withSigma Seven.[1] She is known for starring as Mashiro Mitsumine inEngaged to the Unidentified, Chiranosuke inPunch Line, Adrienne inBrave Beats, Ruriko Kuroyanagi inHinako Note, Kuruha Amō inIdol Incidents, Hagumi Kitazawa inBanG Dream!, Tomomi Heta/Pets inFLCL Alternative, and Shuka inCardfight!! Vanguard Gaiden if.

Biography

Yu-ri Yoshida, a native ofSaga Prefecture, was born on 18 August.[1] In 2012, she made her career debut with the CD releaseDenpa Song Tsūshin-bu: Dengeki Sakusen Tornado, which she performed withRei Matsuzaki andShiori Mikami.[2]

In 2014, it was announced that Yoshida would make her anime debut as Mashiro Mitsumine, a main character inEngaged to the Unidentified;[3] she reprised her role in the 2015 crossover gameMiracle Girls Festival.[1] She later starred as Chiranosuke inPunch Line, Adrienne inBrave Beats, and Ruriko Kuroyanagi inHinako Note.[4][5][6] She was part of theIdol Incidents multimedia project, portraying Kuruha Amō in the tie-in unit Smile X, and she starred in their 2017 anime.[7]

in 2017, Yoshida joinedBushiroad'sBanG Dream! franchise as the voice of Hagumi Kitazawa, the bass player of the Hello, Happy World! in-universe band.[8] She has voiced the character in the franchise's gameBanG Dream! Girls Band Party! and titular anime television series.[9][10][11] She has also voiced the character in thechibi short anime spinoffBanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico and in the animated concert film spin-offFilm Live.[12][13][14]

In 2018, Yoshida starred as Tomomi Heta/Pets inFLCL Alternative.[15] In 2020, she starred as Shuka inCardfight!! Vanguard Gaiden if and Lactic Acid Bacteria/Kuro inHataraku Saibō!!: Saikyō no Teki, Futatabi. Karada no Naka wa "Chō" Ōsawagi!.[16][17] She was one of the four singers of "Koi! Koi Koi", the ending theme of the 2023Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun shorts spinoffAfter-School Hanako-kun.[18] She switched affiliation from Sigma Seven E toSigma Seven on 1 July 2023.[19]

Yoshida is a certified Sauna and Spa Health Advisor.[1] She is a fan of Japanese football internationalAtsuto Uchida.[20]
