Yoo Dong-geun (born June 18, 1956) is a South Korean actor. He is best known for his leading roles in the historicaltelevision dramasTears of the Dragon,Empress Myseongseong, andYeon Gaesomun.[1]

He was also anadjunct professor of연기학담당 at Daekyeung University in 1997. Since 2007, Yoo has been an activist of Sunfull Movement, a non-profit organization againstcyberbullying.[2][3][4]

On December 29, 2007, Yoo landed in the news for assaulting two producers ofThe King and I. Yoo was reportedly enraged because the scripts were routinely turned in late, which exhausted his wifeJeon In-hwa, an actress in the TV series. He later apologized for the incident.[5][6]
