Yawara Hata (畑和,Hata Yawara, September 29, 1910 – January 26, 1996) was a Japanese politician, who served as a member of theHouse of Representatives and agovernor ofSaitama Prefecture.^[1]

In 1993 he received the highest distinction of theScout Association of Japan, theGolden Pheasant Award.^[2]
