Yavoriv Raion (Ukrainian:Яворівський район) is araion (district) inLviv Oblast in westernUkraine. Itsadministrative center isYavoriv. It was established in 1939. Its estimated population is177,662 (2022 estimate).[1]
On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Lviv Oblast was reduced to seven, and the area of Yavoriv Raion was significantly expanded. One abolished raion,Mostyska Raion, was merged into Yavoriv Raion.[2][3] The January 2020 estimate of the raion population was126,115 (2020 est.).[4]
