William Tell (Italian:Guglielmo Tell) is a 1949 Italianhistorical drama film directed byGiorgio Pastina andMichał Waszyński and starringGino Cervi, Monique Orban andPaul Muller.[1] The film is based onFriedrich Schiller's 1804play of the same title, which portrays the adventures ofWilliam Tell in his fight for Swiss independence.
