William Shaner (born April 25, 2001, inColorado Springs, Colorado) is an Americansports shooter. He won gold medals in themen's 10 metre air rifle event at the2020 Summer Olympics, the 10m air rifle event at the2021 ISSF World Cup Croatia, and the 10m air rifle event at the2021 ISSF Junior World Championship Lima, and the bronze medal in the 50 m rifle prone event at the2018 World Championships.[3][4]

Shaner was also part of theUniversity of Kentucky rifle team that won the2021 NCAA Rifle Championships.[2][5]
