TheWikimania Wiknic NYC is a planned socially-distancedWiknic in Brooklyn'sProspect Park to coincide with the virtualWikimania 2021, being heldSaturday August 14, 12-5pm in a shaded grove in front of thePicnic House on the western part of the Long Meadow.
All attendees are subject to Wikimedia NYC'sCode of Conduct. In addition, it is particularly important to respect personal space and to observe government health mandates, and we may limit overall attendance size if appropriate.
If you have Wikipedia/Wikimedia apparel or swag, consider wearing it or bringing it along to make it a bit easier for everyone to find each other in the wide open green spaces.
For this occasion, and to allow more space as desired, we have individually packed lunches provided by the chapter, and attendees are encouraged toRSVP at Eventbrite and give sandwich/entree orders.
