TheWik Paach orWikapatja are anAboriginal Australian people of theCape York Peninsula of northernQueensland.
The Wikapatja spokeWik Paach, which despite the name, is not one of theWik languages.[citation needed]
The Wikapatja were a small tribe whose territory, estimated byTindale as not exceeding 100 square miles (260 km2), was limited to themangroves around thedelta of theArcher River.[1]
The tribe was deemed to be extinct by the time of Tindale's writing in 1974.
