TheWestminster Arms is apublic house in theCity of Westminster, London, England. It is located on Storey's Gate, about 0.2 miles (0.32 km) west of thePalace of Westminster and nearWestminster Abbey.[1]
It is one of six local pubs containing adivision bell,[2] used to alertmembers of parliament that a vote will soon be taken inParliament.[3]
The main lounge is on the ground floor, while the 40-seatQueen Anne dining room is on the first floor. A wine bar, Storey's, is in the basement level.[3]
Before theQueen Elizabeth II Centre was built, the pub had a clear view ofElizabeth Tower, which containsBig Ben.[4]
