Washam is acensus-designated place (CDP) inSweetwater County,Wyoming, United States. The population was 51 at the2010 census.

According to theUnited States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.13 square miles (8.1 km2), all land.[5]
As of thecensus[3] of 2000, there were 43 people, 17 households, and 10 families residing in the CDP. Thepopulation density was 2.1 people per square mile (0.8/km2). There were 49 housing units at an average density of 2.3/sq mi (0.9/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 100.00%White.
There were 17 households, out of which 35.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.9% weremarried couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.3% were non-families. 35.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 3.36.
In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 30.2% under the age of 18, 4.7% from 18 to 24, 30.2% from 25 to 44, 14.0% from 45 to 64, and 20.9% who were 65 years of age or older.
