Wama District[2] (Ashkun:Sâma,Pashto:واما ولسوالۍ,Persian:ولسوالی واما) is a district ofNuristan Province inAfghanistan.[3] In the 2004 Afghanistan administrative reorganization it lost territory to the newly createdNurgram andParun districts.
