Walter Dohrn (born December 5, 1970) is an American writer, director, animator, musician, and actor. He performed the voice ofRumpelstiltskin inShrek Forever After (2010),[5] as well as various characters inShrek the Third (2007). He co-directed the filmTrolls (2016) and directed its sequels, and voiced various characters in the franchise. He is directingShrek 5, set for release in 2026. Dohrn has also worked as writer, director, and storyboard director inSeason 2 ofSpongeBob SquarePants, and he also worked on 2 episodes fromSeason 3.[6] In 2020, Dohrn signed a deal withDreamWorks Animation.[2]
