SEMI-RETIRED
This user is no longer very active on Wikipedia.
Hi everyone! With 2025 rolling in, I've made the decision to generally retire from editing. I've got a lot going on, and I'm ready to step back and work on other things. I will almost certainly still make some edits here and there as I read various articles and spot typos and what not, but in general I will no longer be patrolling, checking watchlist (it's been wiped!) or participating in most WikiProject pages. I might not be quick to see any pings or new talk page messages. I had intended to do this with the New Year but I might not be online the next couple days so here we go. Thanks to everyone I've edited with over the last...counts... 17 years! --ferret (talk)17:49, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- I hope you have a great time and great luck with everything you move on to.ScottishFinnishRadish (talk)18:00, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm sorry to hear that, but I understand. Let me know if you ever need me to help with anything while unavailable to do it yourself. (I'll continue to be a talk page stalker too.)Sergecross73msg me18:12, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare cooperation
[edit]Thanks for help with combining my and WikiBenboy's input for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare", and giving hints for further improvement (too much text dedicated solely to EGM):https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Call_of_Duty:_Infinite_Warfare&diff=prev&oldid=1035246620
which helped in creating this version:https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Call_of_Duty:_Infinite_Warfare&diff=next&oldid=1044370108
This was a good coop, I believe.
Damn, forgot to sign, again.MichalZim (talk)08:00, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hope you're doing well!
[edit]I was wondering why I haven't seen your name around much lately. I wish you the best with whatever it is you do outside of Wikipedia. Thank you for all your work over these years! And reverting edits that I was too scared to do myself on a couple occasions.Panini!•🥪15:51, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, can you please ask an admin to fix the internal error with theRTS games list page?
Whenever I try to make a new small edit, this small error message always comes up after clicking to the next preview window in my mobile Wikipedia app on android phone. It says:"{"status":500,"type":"Internal error"}".
What is it? Is it a database upload problem with the page?
Maybe editing and previewing it will work in a desktop PC browser. I haven't tried that yet.ObiKKa (talk)18:04, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- @ObiKKa: Do you have a VPN active on your mobile device, or does your mobile browser obfuscate your identity? I can edit the page fine. As ferret is semi-retired, there are probably better places for this sort of query. —ImaginesTigers (talk)19:17, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- @ImaginesTigers No. I don't use a VPN on my phone. it's always worked before with any page I edit on the mobile app (Wikipedia's own app). I wasn't editing in a mobile browser if that's what you mean.ObiKKa (talk)21:23, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- @ObiKKa: Check on your desktop to see if your account reproduces it there. If it still doesn't work, post all this information atWP:VPT and someone will help you out there. —ImaginesTigers (talk)21:26, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
