Hi Charlie! I saw your response atTalk:Cheshire murders (Special:Diff/1237148884) to an non-constructive edit request. An IP editor made a subsequent unhelpful remarks attacking a biography subject, so I removed the entire thread perWP:NOTFORUM andWP:OTHERSCOMMENTS.

I just wanted to make you aware that if someone is disruptively using Edit Requests toWP:soapbox (particularly, about aWP:Contentious topic), it is sometimes better to simplyWP:deny recognition and delete the request instead of responding to it, thus inviting them to quibble and soapbox further. Of course, this is only a suggestion, and I encourage you to use your best judgment.
