United Gulf Bank (UGB) is acommercial bank located inManama,Bahrain, founded in 1980.^[1]

UGB works under awholesale banking licence from theCentral Bank of Bahrain and is listed on theBahrain Stock Exchange. From 1988 is a member of theKuwait Projects Company Holding (KIPCO).^[2]

The bank building,UGB Tower, designed bySOM, contains elements of thelocal architecture andenergy saving features for thehigh-rise office buildings.^[3]
