Umanak (Kalaallisut:Uummannaq, "Heart-shaped") was a formerMoravian mission in mid-westernGreenland, locatedupfjord fromNeu-Herrnhut (modernNuuk).[1]

It was founded in 1861 and surrendered to the LutheranChurch of Denmark in 1900.[2][3]
