Teppakulam[1] is a locality near the centre of theIndian city ofTiruchirappalli inTiruchirappalli district.[2] It is a busy commercial place.[3] It consists of a large artificial tank surrounded bybazaars, prominent among which is a flower market.[4] It contains theThayumanavar Temple and the Sri Naganathar Swamy Temple, theSt. Joseph College Church and Holy Cross Church, and Srimathi Indira Gandhi College for Women.[5] The historicRockfort is situated nearby.[6] Holy Cross College is located at Teppakulam.[7] The Teppam Floating Festival is held here on boats in January or February and it is a common time and place for marriages.[8]
