Tre Swilling (born March 26, 1999) is an American professionalfootballcornerback for theNew York Jets of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theGeorgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Swilling was born inNew Orleans, Louisiana and attendedBrother Martin High School. Swilling would decide to commit to playcollege football atGeorgia Tech over other schools such asAlabama,Florida,Florida State,LSU, andMichigan.[1][2]
In week ten of the 2018 season, Swilling recorded his first career interception, as he helped Georgia Tech beatNorth Carolina.[3] Swilling finished the 2018 season with 24 tackles with 1.5 going for a loss, a sack, six pass deflections, an interception, and a forced fumble.[4] In week one of the 2019 season, Swilling broke up a pass and intercepted a pass off of quarterbackTrevor Lawrence returning it 41 yards, but the Yellow Jackets would fall againstClemson.[5] Swilling finished the 2019 season with 23 tackles with two being for a loss, ten pass deflections, an interception, and a fumble recovery.[6] For his performance on the season, Swilling was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention.[7] In the 2020 season, Swilling recorded 21 tackles, a pass deflection, a fumble recovery, and a forced fumble.[8] In the 2021 season, Swilling notched 33 tackles with two being for a loss, a sack, and four pass deflections.[9]
Swilling finished his Georgia Tech career with 101 tackles with 5.5 going for a loss, two sacks, 21 pass deflections, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles.[10]

On April 30, 2022, Swilling was signed to theTennessee Titans as anundrafted free agent after going unselected in the2022 NFL draft.[12] Swilling was waived on August 30, 2022.[13]
On September 12, 2022, Swilling was signed to theNew Orleans Saints practice squad.[14] He was released on October 4, 2022.[15]
On December 20, 2022, Swilling was signed to theSan Francisco 49ers practice squad.[16] He was released on December 27, 2022.[17] On February 6, 2023, Swilling was re-signed to the 49ers to a reserve/future contract.[18] He was waived on August 29, 2023, but was re-signed to the practice squad the next day.[19][20] On September 16, 2023, Swilling was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster after cornerbackSamuel Womack was placed on the injured reserve due to an MCL injury.[21]
On October 3, 2023, Swilling was signed to theBaltimore Ravens practice squad.[22] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 29, 2024.[23] He was waived on July 22.
Swilling was signed by theNew York Jets on August 2, 2024.[24] He was waived on August 27, and re-signed to the practice squad.[25][26] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 6, 2025.[27]
Swilling is the son ofCollege Football Hall of Fame linebacker,Pat Swilling.[28]
