Tommy Stroot (born 24 December 1988) is a Germanfootball manager who managesVfL Wolfsburg.
Stroot was born inNordhorn, Germany to a Dutch mother and German father.[1] He studied physiotherapy and worked with disabled people before becoming a coach.[2]
In 2013, Stroot was appointed manager of German sideSV Meppen. In 2016, he was appointed manager of Dutch sideFC Twente. He helped the club winits domestic league in 2019 and 2021. In 2021, he was appointed manager of German sideVfL Wolfsburg, replacingStephan Lerch. He helped the club winits domestic league in 2022 and advance to theWomen's Champions League final in 2023.[3]
