Tje ( ; italics: ) is a letter of theCyrillic script. It comes from aligature ofTe (Т т) andsoft sign (Ь ь). The letter has been used inEastern Khanty andNorthern Khanty since 2013, where it represents thepalatalizedvoiceless alveolar plosive/tʲ/, like the pronunciation of the t in "tube" in British English.[1]
