Thomas W. Dempsey (born January 23, 1931, inWilliamsport, Pennsylvania) is a formerRepublican member of thePennsylvania House of Representatives.

He graduated fromWilliamsport High School inLycoming County, Pennsylvania, in 1948 and fromLycoming College in 1952.[1] He was elected to represent the83rd legislative district in November 1987, following the death of fellow RepublicanAnthony J. Cimini, a position he held until his retirement prior to the2000 elections.[1]

In 2001, he received the Angela R. Kyte Outstanding Alumnus Award fromLycoming College[3]
