The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue is a luxury suite hotel located in a mixed-use skyscraper at 400Fifth Avenue, between 36th and 37th Streets, inMidtown Manhattan, New York City. It is operated by theLangham Hospitality Group.

History

The hotel was developed by Bizzi & Partners Development and opened on November 1, 2010, asThe Setai Fifth Avenue, managed by the Capella Hotel Group.[3] In 2012, it was sold to Hong Kong–basedGreat Eagle Holdings for $229 million.[4] Great Eagle placed the hotel under the management of theirLangham Hospitality Group and it was renamedLangham Place, Fifth Avenue on May 7, 2013.[5] It was renamedThe Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue in December 2017.[6]

Building

400 Fifth Avenue was constructed usinglimestone in the 11-floor base in a somewhatart deco style. Floors four through 16 contain 214 hotel rooms.[1] The restaurantAi Fiori is located in the building.[7]
