The Chymical Wedding is a 1989novel byLindsay Clarke about the intertwined lives of six people in two different eras. Inspired by the life ofMary Anne Atwood, the book includes themes ofalchemy, the occult, fate, passion, and obsession.[1] It won theWhitbread Prize for fiction in 1989.[2][3][4]
