Tapul, officially theMunicipality of Tapul (Tausūg:Kawman sin Tapul;Tagalog:Bayan ng Tapul), is amunicipality in theprovince ofSulu,Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 18,197 people.[5]
Tapul is politically subdivided into 15barangays. Each barangay consists ofpuroks while some havesitios.
