The National Statistical Coordination Board states that Maguindanao has 22 municipalities but lists 23 of them. I'm not sure which is correct since it may be that two of the municipalities listed are actually the same. --seav 02:57, Aug 16, 2003 (UTC)

Maguindanao has two new municipalities: Datu Abdullah Sanki and Rajah Buayan. Sources:

I think we should provide how to make sure this is properly reflected, the seat of government is in Shariff Aguak, however Sultan Kudarat remains to be the capital[1]. See also thisarticle.
