Working on increasing page quality assessment

[edit]

Hey all, just wanted to post here in case anyone was wondering why there were so many edits on a retired Senators page. I plan on working on this page a bit to try and get the article quality up from C-class. I haven't done a major page quality improvement project before, so any help proofreading or adding to the page (especially filling in the gaps in his pre-Senate career) would be appreciated!TulsaPoliticsFan (talk)02:50, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

TulsaPoliticsFan, I read the whole article and have reassessed the article to B. It is very informative.Cullen328 (talk)03:13, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

He died today

His death was confirmed at 4:00 AM. July 9, 2024Blender41 (talk)14:59, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The order of precedence succession box should be removed then, as that’s for living people.66.99.15.163 (talk)18:23, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pilot

[edit]

The NY Times obit reports on the time he landed his personal light plane on a clearly marked closed runway, scattering people who were working on that runway. The FAA disciplined him for the event but he then later attacked the FAA's budget in retaliation. An earlier version of his Wiki bio included this event but it was scrubbed. Time to let the facts speak for themselves.2601:1C0:5A00:8120:C0AE:DBB0:73B3:52E2 (talk)23:49, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
