Disputed:This article appears to make the mistake of making the Gur language peoples a subset of the Grusi, whereas the reverse is true (see Ethnologue). Languages such as Dagbani, Farefare, Nankani, Kusaal, etc. belong to the Oti-Volta branch of Central Gur, whereas Kasem & Sisaala belong to the Grusi branch. Ethnically also it is erroneous to claim that "The Gurunsi or Grunshi are a set of ethnic groups inhabiting Kingdom of Dagbon", and suggests not only factual error but also political bias. The present-day Kingdom of Dagbon is the traditional state in Ghana in which the language Dagbani is spoken, and the article's implication that the Grusi peoples, which would include the Kasena, are part of this kingdom is patently incorrect. The article requires radical revision and needs to be consistent with the Wiki article onGurunsi languages.EJT (talk)16:37, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
