The other Denise Scott has a couple of secondary school textbooks published about poetry
Looking at the History of the article, I can see that there certainly WAS a previous version which DID give her birthdate as 1945, rather than 1955, the correct figure. Denise Scott said on television music quizz show Spicks and Specks that someone had conflated details concerning herself and another Denise Scott, who writes books on poetry. She also said (probably as a joke) that she was receiving royalties from the works of the other Denise Scott, and that these were significantly better than those from her own books. She concluded that we should all "trust Wikipedia". I thought she was a lovely lady with a great sense of humour, and heaps of vitality and warmth.Myles325a (talk)03:48, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The only version that said she was born in 1945 was writthen at 22:50pm AEST on 23 September 2009, after the broadcast. I was just commenting on how comedians make there own material up.--Grahame (talk)01:07, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
