I have proposed thatCardiff-Newport metropolitan area is merged intoSouth East Wales. Both articles cover the same geographical area, which is the same as theCardiff Capital Region. Please comment atTalk:South East Wales#Merger proposal.Verbcatcher (talk)17:19, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Though the Cardiff-Newport metropolitan area article could easily be deleted as this article covers the same thing- the Cardiff Capital Region is an actual statutory body. I would argue that Cardiff Capital Region is the presiding article out of these three, however there are justifications for both to exists.
