Just discovered this (very nice) page, having created a stub page onApollonius of Citium earlier today. I will probably move this pageApollonios of Kition toApollonius of Citium as per standard Wikipedia policy on names:WP:UE, but I thought I'd better give advance warning first, out of politeness, and in case of any objections.Singinglemon (talk)02:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
True but "Apollonius of Citium" is much more common in English language works. It is what most English-speakers would search for, it's certainly what I searched for when hunting for a page on him, (after creating a page on theEmpiric school). I sympathise though, I'm sure Latinised names do look odd (or just plain wrong) to native Greek-speakers. Oh well, I won't make an issue of it, I will stick a redirect onApollonius of Citium then.Singinglemon (talk)01:15, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
