Taiaçu is a municipality in the state ofSão Paulo inBrazil. The population is 6,320 (2020 est.) in an area of 107 km².[2] The elevation is 565 m.

In telecommunications, the city was served byTelecomunicações de São Paulo.[3] In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted theVivo brand in 2012. The company is currently an operator of cell phones, fixed lines, internet (fiber optics/4G) and television (satellite and cable).[4]

Protestant Church

The most diverse evangelical beliefs are present in the city, mainlyPentecostal, including theAssemblies of God in Brazil (the largest evangelical church in the country),[6][7]Christian Congregation in Brazil,[8] among others. These denominations are growing more and more throughout Brazil.
