Stewarts Brook, aperennial stream of theHunter River catchment, is located in theHunter region ofNew South Wales,Australia.
Officially designated as a river,[1] the Stewarts Brook rises belowMount Barrington on the western slopes ofMount Royal Range. The river flows generally west northwest, joined by three minortributaries, before reaching itsconfluence with the Hunter River northeast of the locality of Belltrees, east ofScone. Stewarts Brook descends 786 metres (2,579 ft) over its 33 kilometres (21 mi)course.[2]
