Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi, previously known asStadio XXV Aprile, is a sports stadium dedicated torugby union, located in the city ofParma in theEmilia-Romagna region of northernItaly. It replaced the originalStadio Sergio Lanfranchi which was demolished in July 2008.
It is a 5,000 seat arena which hostsCrociati Parma Rugby FC[1] andGran Parma Rugby[2] rugby union teams. It also hosts theParma PanthersAmerican football team.[3] In 2012 it also became the home stadium of theZebre Parma[4] franchise which replacedAironi in thePro12[5] league andHeineken Cup.[6]
In January 2015, the Stadio XXV Aprile was renamed as the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi, the previousstadium of that name having been demolished.[7]
