TheHouse of Smilets (Bulgarian:Смилец) was an imperial house of theSecond Bulgarian Empire. Founded byTsarSmilets of Bulgaria in 1292, the dynasty was short-lived, ending under Smilets' sonIvan II of Bulgaria in 1299.
