Sinamia is an extinct genus of freshwateramiiform fish which existed in China, Japan, South Korea[1] and North Korea[2] during the EarlyCretaceous period.[3] Like the relatedbowfin, it has an elongated low-running dorsal fin, though this was likelyconvergently evolved.[4]
