Kazuhiro Moriuchi (森内 一寛, born November 18, 1947, inKofu, Yamanashi^[1][2]) known professionally asShinichi Mori (森 進一,Mori Shin'ichi) is aJapanese maleenka singer and composer, who also singsfolk and pop music. He has sold more than 90 million records, making him one of the best selling Japanese musicians.^[3][4]

Mori has been married and divorced twice, first toReiko Ohara^[5] and then toMasako Mori.^[6] His sons,Takahiro Moriuchi andHiroki Moriuchi, are the vocalists of the rock bandsOne Ok Rock andMy First Story, respectively.^[7]

In the beginning, Mori won a competition atFuji Television Network in 1965.^[8] He debuted with the successful song "Onna no Tameiki" of the famous composer Inomata Kōshō in 1966.^[9]
